Dr. Coleman is a distinguished educator and technologist with over 20 years’ experience in the classroom. With a rich background in technology education, Dr. Coleman has dedicated his career to advancing the fields of special education and STEM. He holds a Doctoral Degree in Technology Education, a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership, a Master’s Degree in Special Education, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems.

Dr. Coleman is an active member of the Advisory Board of Robofest at Lawrence Tech University, where his insights and expertise contribute significantly to the evolving landscape of robotics and STEM education. Dr. Coleman also serves on the Board of Directors for The Infinitâ„¢ Foundation, where his role is vital in shaping educational strategies that integrate technology and creativity. His expertise in special education and technology education is instrumental in guiding the Foundation’s efforts to produce engaging, Gospel-driven content that resonates with diverse audiences.

Dr. Coleman’s dedication to education is highlighted by his recognition as one of the top 100 middle school teachers in the United States in 2025 and guest speaker at the Society for Science conference in Washington D.C. in October 2025. He was also awarded ESE Teacher of the Year in 2016 in Osceola County. This accolade is a testament to his commitment to providing exceptional educational experiences to his students. He is a passionate advocate for hands-on learning, employing real-world-style activities to engage students and foster lifelong learning habits. His teaching philosophy centers around the belief that active, relevant learning experiences are crucial in preparing students for future challenges.
